THE CROC
Gratitude and joy dripped down my face. My t-shirt was soaking wet. I pretty much dragged ass off the stage. So many people (who I love so much) came together from different circles to make Pak at the Croc come to life, and a room full of beautiful people (who I love so much) gave so much love back.
The smiles, the laughter, the cheering after each song - those are the priceless things that money can't buy! Connection is everything. I love my band. We've gotten so close in the last couple of months and the performance we gave at The Crocodile is the closest we've ever come to the sound I hear in my head every night before I go to bed.
So grateful to have my braddah Prometheus Brown host the show, rock "First Avenue" as we always do, and take a stab at a brand new song called "Walls" that we're starting to record.
As a special bonus, last year Stone Gossard and I recorded a song called "Champions" and he joined us on stage to perform the song for the first time in front of an audience!
And to get the party started, who better to warm the room than the talented young artists from Totem Star!
This show was one for the books and I'll always remember it as my first show performing not as Kore Ionz, but as Daniel Pak.
Daps, brah, you gotta stop spinning. They’re trying to shut the place down.
