Samoan reggae star J Boog is making his way across the United States on his Love Over Everything tour right now, with support from Jesse Royal and Etana. With Etana unable to make the Portland show, Boog's management called and asked if Kore Ionz wanted to do the show. When I responded that I had decided to stop performing as Kore Ionz but could do the show as Daniel Pak I didn’t think they’d accept. But they did. And it was great. Not bad for my first official show as Daniel Pak. So much love and aloha to the band for jumping in the van last minute and booking it down I-5. This was my third time performing with Boog, who was just nominated for a Grammy this year, and man, the braddah and his band are unreal tight. By the time we took the stage around 8pm the Roseland Theater was completely packed to the rafters.
